1959 Chevy Nomad Station Wagon

The Nomad was back and still the top of the line wagon with room for six and four doors. It's trim inside and out was as elegant as the 1959 Chevrolet Impala and was Chevy's highest price car for 1959. Fully loaded this 1959 Chevrolet station wagon cost over $3000.00. A fully loaded 1959 Chevy Impala Convertible cost just under $3000.00.

1959 Chevrolet Kingswood 4 Door Station Wagon

Due to similar side trim molding the 1959 Chevrolet Kingswood was equivalent to the Bel Air sedans. It was considered a little more deluxe than the Chevrolet Parkwood, but not quite as nice as the Nomad station wagon, Chevy's best. The 1959 Kingswood was a 4 door 9 passenger station wagon and offered a unique rear facing third seat and power operated rear window. The 1959 Chevrolet Parkwood 4 door 6 passenger station wagon was distinctively trimmed inside and out similar to the 1959 Bel Air. At an average price of just $2800.00 the Parkwood was priced a shade above the thrifty 1959 Chevy wagon Brookwood seen below.

1959 Chevrolet Brookwood 2 Door Station Wagon

The Brookwood was introduced in 1958 as Chevrolet's mid-priced station wagon. 1959 Chevy Brookwoods were trimmed in line with Chevrolet's mid-priced 1958 Biscayne sedans. The 1958 Brookwood's were offered in a 4-door station wagon and available in either six or nine passenger models.

In 1959, Chevrolet eliminated its entry level Delray model and the Biscayne became Chevrolet's least expensive model. With Biscayne trim, the Brookwood became the entry level or least expensive wagon offered by Chevrolet. The 1959 Chevrolet Brookwoods were available with two or four doors. The average price of a 1959 Brookwood was $2650.00. A 1959 Chevrolet wagons were and alternate to the 1959 Chevrolet trucks.
